Country music icon Willie Nelson has teamed up with his son and grandson for a brand new album that takes us all the way back to Hank Williams and George Harrison.
Oddly enough, “Willie Nelson & Family: The Family Band” features just Nelson, his grandson Micah and his son Lukas, two legends in their own right in country music. The grandson and son are also friends of Harris and their playing is featured on “Bridge Over Troubled Water.”

This isn’t the first time the trio has worked together. Willie Nelson & Family: Made in High School/Made in Texas was originally released in 2017. The elder Nelson even played a cut from that album on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.”
Willie Nelson & Family: The Family Band, a Deluxe Edition with three bonus songs and music videos that go along with every track, is set for release in July. The songs feature songs that remind fans of their childhood days as well as tunes that still reflect their hearts.
