Meanwhile, a new report claims that Samsung will release a couple of new sizes for its Galaxy Ring in January of next year.
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard about potential new sizes for the company’s first smart ring. A report from September revealed that Samsung was working on sizes 14 and 15 to better fit more people’s fingers. Currently, the South Korean giant offers the device in sizes 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13.

Now, Max Jambor, the same source who revealed the potential two new sizes for the Galaxy Ring months ago, has shared an update. He wrote on X/Twitter that the firm plans to launch sizes 14 and 15 in January 2025. According to leaks, Samsung will hold its next Unpacked event on January 22nd or 23rd, where the spotlight will be on the Galaxy S25 series. However, if Jambor’s leak is true, it looks like the two new sizes will accompany the brand’s new flagship phones.
The tipster’s post includes additional details about the potential new sizes of the Galaxy Ring. The size 14 could have the model number SM-Q514, a weight of 3.2 grams, and an internal diameter of 23mm. On the other hand, the size 15 could have the model number SM-Q515, a weight of 3.2 grams, and an internal diameter of 23.8mm.
There are a few sizes of the current Galaxy Ring, particularly the two larger ones—12 and 13—that have a higher battery capacity. There are no details yet on whether future new sizes will also have a larger cell too.
