Body found in Toronto suburb

A body was found outside a house near a bus station in the Toronto suburb of Vaughan early Monday, CTV reported.

Authorities told the Canadian news station the body was of a white man, and they believe it is suspicious.

Investigators are analyzing the area, according to an announcement on the police force’s Facebook page.

The homicide squad has taken over the investigation. No further details were provided, and it was not immediately clear when the body was found.

Police say they are speaking with neighbors in the area, and surveillance cameras are being examined.

“We are working on confirming if there were video cameras in the area and if there were, where they were,” officer Clint Stibbe told CTV.

Since the video cameras can be hard to find, police are asking for the public’s help to help find the cameras.

“We would really appreciate if people would look through their vehicles, their basement, all of their equipment,” Stibbe said.

“Whoever did this is sick, and someone has to step up and find out who this was,” neighbor Frank Borzard told CTV.

The homicide squad is appealing to anyone with information, including victims who might not remember much about the suspect.
